WhatsApp Launches Full-Featured App for Apple Watch
WhatsApp has released a new, native application for Apple Watch, allowing users to manage messages and calls directly from their wrist without needing to use their iPhone.

The new app, announced earlier this week, moves beyond simple message notifications. For the first time, Apple Watch users can now read full messages, including long threads and chat history, directly on the watch face.
Key functionalities introduced in the watchOS app include the ability to record and send voice messages, view incoming call notifications, and see images and stickers sent in chats. Users can also send quick emoji reactions to messages.
According to the company, all messages and calls on the watch app will remain end-to-end encrypted, maintaining the platform’s standard privacy features.
The new WhatsApp application requires an Apple Watch Series 4 or a later model and must be running watchOS 10 or newer. The company stated that this is the initial version and plans to add more functionality in future updates.
