Good news gamers! The Black Shark 2 Pro will be making its way to Malaysia come this 3 September according to a post from the brand’s Facebook page.
This announcement should really heat up the competition in the local gaming smartphone scene with both the Black Shark 2 Pro and the ROG Phone 2 set to battle head to head in September.
Equipped with the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and super fast UFS 3.0 storage, the Black Shark Pro 2 has all you could ask for in a gaming smartphone. You get a choice between the 12GB of RAM + 128GB storage or 12GB of RAM + 256GB storage variant.
It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery which should provide ample power for gaming and also recharges fast thanks to 27W fast charging via USB C.
The device comes with fancy RGB lighting strips in the rear if you are into that sort of thing. Most companies that market gaming products tend to think so.
For the display, the Black Shark 2 Pro has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display which isn’t half bad for gaming and consuming media.
In terms of cameras, it has a humble dual camera set up with a 48-Megapixel main camera and a 12-Megapixel telephoto camera.
Can’t wait for the official launch? An import set of the Black Shark 2 Pro is now available via retailer Mobile2Go for RM2,298 (12GB of RAM + 128GB) and RM2,598 (12GB of RAM + 256GB).
