Garmin’s Latest Fenix 6 Series Wants To Make a Fitter You

Garmon has introduced its new line of Fenix 6 GPS smartwatches in Malaysia.

A total of 4 new models were announced: the Fenix 6, Fenix 6S, Fenix 6X and Fenix 6X Pro Solar.

The flagship model is the Fenix 6X Pro Solar and it boasts a 21 day battery life. As its name suggests, it has a solar charging lens that allows the watch to extend its run time by up to 3 days.

Having said that with GPS turned on, users can expect 60 hours of usage.

The new Fenix 6X Pro Solar also has a large 1.4-inch display which is 36% larger than its predecessor.

The watch also has the ability to store some 2,000 stores with its built-in 32GB of storage. There is even the option to stream Spotify using WiFi.

Not to be outdone, the Fenix 6X has the same large 1.4-inch display while Fenix 6 has a slightly smaller 1.3-inch display.

Those who want to customise their watch can mix and match their bands using the QuickFit nylon bands.

The entry-level Fenix 6S, available in 42mm size, though it retains many of the Fenix 6’s features.

All models have a heart rate sensor and can be used when swimming (10ATM).

Pricing for the Fenix 6S and Fenix 6 will start at RM2,999 while versions with scratch-resistant sapphire glass start at RM3,950.

The Fenix 6X is priced at RM4,199 and the top end Fenix 6X Pro Solar starts ar RM4,699. There is also a variant of the 6X Pro Solar with a titanium bracelet that costs RM5,699 though it will only be available at a later date.
