Google Pixel Buds Pro 2: Tensor Chip, Enhanced ANC, and Longer Battery Life

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Launched in Malaysia

In addition to the Google Pixel 9 Series, Google has unveiled the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, featuring a significant upgrade with the integration of the Tensor A1 chip.

This powerful addition brings notable improvements in audio quality, noise cancellation, and device location tracking.

The earbuds retain the familiar design of their predecessor. However, Google has introduced a new feature. They now include a rotating mechanism to secure the buds in the ear. This design was informed by data collected from 45 million ear shapes.

The Tensor A1 chip empowers the Buds Pro 2 with enhanced noise cancellation, claiming to be twice as effective as the previous generation. Additionally, users can now interact with Google’s Gemini AI through voice commands.

Battery life has also seen a boost, offering up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC enabled and 12 hours without. The charging case extends this to 30 hours with ANC and 40 hours without.

A notable feature is the integration of Find My Device support, allowing users to locate their earbuds even when they are inside the charging case.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is priced at RM1,099. They will be available in four colour options: Porcelain, Hazel, Wintergreen, and Peony. The earbuds will be available for purchase in Malaysia starting from the 22nd of September. You can buy them through Shopee, Lazada, CelcomDigi, Maxis, Urban Republic, and Senheng.
