Google Unveils Veo: A Generative AI Video Model to Rival OpenAI’s Sora

Google has officially introduced Veo, its new generative AI video model, developed by its AI research arm, DeepMind. The announcement positions Google ahead of OpenAI, which plans to launch its own text-to-video model, Sora, in the near future. Veo is currently in private preview on Google’s Vertex AI platform, where it aims to redefine video content creation.
