LG Electronics Malaysia has introduced the LG PuriCare AeroCatTower Air Purifier, marking the debut of the country’s first air purifier specifically engineered for homes with cats. This new 4-in-1 device combines advanced air filtration with feline-friendly furniture, addressing the needs of Malaysia’s growing community of pet owners.

The launch comes as pet ownership in Malaysia rises significantly. Recent market insights indicate that 51% of Malaysians now own pets, with cats present in approximately 78% of those households.

Designed for Feline Comfort

The AeroCatTower functions as both an air purifier and a resting spot. It features a heated dome seat on top with a “low-front, high-back” design to help cats feel secure while observing their surroundings. The seat offers two heating modes: 34°C for kittens and 39°C for adult cats.

Smart sensors enable a “Sensing Warmth” mode, which activates the heater only when a cat is seated. To ensure safety and accessibility, the unit features a stable step platform suitable for senior or short-legged breeds, as well as hidden control buttons to prevent accidental activation by curious paws.

Owners can also monitor their pet’s well-being through the LG ThinQ app, which tracks the cat’s weight and resting habits via a built-in scale.

Advanced Air Purification

Beyond its pet features, the AeroCatTower is a robust air purifier. It uses a 360-degree airflow system and a multi-filtration HEPA filter designed to reduce 99% of pet dander and odours.

LG has also integrated its UVnano technology, which eliminates 99.99% of harmful bacteria and viruses on the fan blades. An easy-change pre-filter captures larger particles like fur and dust, making maintenance simple for pet owners.

The LG PuriCare AeroCatTower is available for outright purchase at RM3,200.

Alternatively, customers can opt for the LG Subscribe rental model, which offers flexible monthly plans based on the service type and duration:

• 7-Year Plan: RM70/month (Self-Service) or RM90/month (Regular Visits).
• 5-Year Plan: RM100/month (Self-Service) or RM120/month (Regular Visits).
