Infinix Malaysia has just announced that they will be bring the new Infinix SMART 8 Pro to Malaysia. The entry-level device will make its debut on the 31st January. This is the first device from Infinix’s SMART series to release in Malaysia since the SMART 6 in 2022.
Infinix SMART 8 Pro
The SMART 8 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. You can also find a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset under the hood with 8GB RAM which can be upgraded with 8GB virtual RAM and 128GB internal storage with support for microSD expansion.
The device also touts a “Dual AI camera” setup with a 50MP main camera. Additionally, there’s an 8MP selfie camera at the front situated in the device’s punch-hole notch. Infinix also added an interactive Smart Ring feature to the punch-hole cutout, clearly inspired by that one feature from a certain “fruit-based” brand.

Price and availability
The retail price for the Infinix SMART 8 Pro has yet to be revealed but Infinix Malaysia stated that it will come with an affordable price tag. There will be four colours to choose from; Shiny Gold, Rainbow Blue, Galaxy White, and Timber Black. The device will launch on the 31st January on Infinix Malaysia’s official website, Facebook page, Instagram page and TikTok channel.
