Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 15 Series in Malaysia Alongside New Smart Audio Wearables

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Note 15 Series in Malaysia today, introducing four new devices that prioritise rugged durability and long-lasting battery life. The launch event also saw the debut of two new AIoT audio products: the Redmi Buds 8 Lite and the stylish Mijia Smart Audio Glasses.

The new smartphone lineup consists of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Note 15 Pro 5G, Note 15 5G, and the standard Note 15.

Redmi Note 15 Series: “Titan” Durability and Massive Power

The key highlight of this year’s series is the introduction of “Redmi Titan Durability,” a design philosophy that integrates Silicon-Carbon (SiC) battery technology, reinforced drop resistance, and high-level dust and water protection.

For the first time in the Redmi Note series, Xiaomi is using SiC battery technology to increase energy density without adding bulk. The range-topping Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G features a massive 6,500mAh SiC battery paired with 100W HyperCharge, promising flagship-level endurance. Even the slim Redmi Note 15 5G houses a 5,520mAh SiC battery within a 7.35mm chassis.

Durability is a major focus, with the Pro models achieving IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications, ensuring resistance against immersion and high-pressure water jets. They also feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and a reinforced “Titan Structure.”

On the imaging front, the Pro models debut a new 200MP HPE image sensor capable of 2x and 4x optical-level zoom, while the standard models feature a 108MP main camera.
