Samsung Unveils the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G in Malaysia, Packing Pro-Level Features at an Awesome Price

Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G in Malaysia. These latest additions to the popular A series aim to democratise artificial intelligence by bringing Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence” to more users worldwide.
Powered by the new One UI 8.5, both smartphones feature tools designed to simplify everyday tasks. Users can take advantage of Voice Transcription to easily transcribe and translate call recordings or convert voicemail into text. Meanwhile, the AI Select feature allows for quick text extraction and seamless content creation.
Photography also gets a massive AI boost with tools like Object Eraser for removing unwanted background elements, Best Face for perfecting group shots, and Circle to Search with Google for seamless multi-object recognition.
On the hardware side, both the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G are equipped with a versatile triple-camera system anchored by a 50MP main sensor. Samsung has significantly improved its Nightography capabilities to capture clear and true-to-life photos even in low-light environments.
The devices feature a bright Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster technology for clear viewing indoors and outdoors. The Galaxy A57 5G takes things a step further with an upgraded CPU, GPU, and NPU housed within a slimmer, more refined design that includes a 13 per cent larger vapour chamber to sustain performance during extended gaming.
Keeping these devices powered is a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports up to two days of use. When it is time to plug in, Super Fast Charging 2.0 can bring the battery up to 60 per cent in roughly 30 minutes. Both smartphones are built for everyday durability with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Samsung is also promising exceptional long-term support with up to six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Security is further bolstered by the hardware-based Samsung Knox Vault to keep personal data safe from tampering.
Price and Availability
The new Galaxy A series is officially available in Malaysia starting from 25 March. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G comes in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, and Awesome Icyblue. Its top-tier 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model carries a retail price of RM2,699, but a limited-time launch rebate brings it down to RM2,399. The 256GB variant of the A57 is normally priced at RM2,399 and features a discounted launch price of RM2,249.
Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is offered in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, and Awesome Graygreen. Available in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, the A37 retails for RM1,999, but early buyers can secure it for just RM1,899. Additional rebates of up to RM200 are also available for customers paying with Maybank, CIMB, or Shopee Pay Later.
