Samsung Unveils Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Series With Enhanced Hi-Fi Sound and Smarter AI Integration
TL;DR: Samsung has unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro with a redesigned blade look, upgraded audio hardware and enhanced Adaptive ANC. The Buds4 start at RM699 while the Buds4 Pro is priced at RM999, with pre-orders beginning 26 February 2026.
Alongside its latest flagship smartphones, Samsung has officially introduced the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro, bringing a redesigned form factor, upgraded audio hardware and deeper AI ecosystem integration to its true wireless lineup.
The new Buds4 series focuses on delivering what Samsung calls its most powerful hi-fi experience yet, while improving long-term comfort and wearability.
New Blade Design Built on Ear Data
The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series introduces a refined “blade” design identity. According to Samsung, the new shape was developed using analysis of hundreds of millions of ear data points and over 10,000 simulations.

Both models now feature smaller earbud heads for a more secure fit during extended use. The stem includes a premium metal finish and a clearly marked pinch control zone for easier gesture interaction. The transparent clamshell-style charging case highlights the new design while improving usability.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 Pro uses a canal-fit design for stronger passive isolation and maximum performance. Meanwhile, the standard Samsung Galaxy Buds4 adopt an open-fit structure aimed at users who prefer a lighter and more breathable listening experience.
Colour options include Black and White for both models, with an online-exclusive Pink Gold available for the Pro variant.
Wider Woofer for More Detailed Sound
The biggest hardware upgrade appears on the Buds4 Pro. It features a newly designed wider woofer that increases the effective vibration area by nearly 20 per cent compared to its predecessor. Paired with a tweeter in a two-way speaker system, the earbuds support 24-bit, 96kHz playback on compatible Galaxy devices.
This setup is designed to deliver cleaner bass, richer treble and improved clarity across the frequency spectrum. The speaker placement has also been optimised to enhance Active Noise Cancellation performance while reducing wind interference.
Both models support UHQ audio, 24-bit Hi-Fi playback and 360 Audio with Direct Multi-Channel on supported Galaxy smartphones and tablets running the required One UI versions.
Enhanced Adaptive ANC and Clearer Calls
Samsung has also upgraded Adaptive ANC and Adaptive EQ. The system dynamically analyses wearing conditions and ear shape to adjust sound output and noise cancellation in real time.
In daily use, this means better suppression of low-frequency noise such as bus engines, train rumble or aircraft cabin sounds, while maintaining balanced playback.
For calls, Super Clear Call combines super wideband call technology with machine learning-based voice enhancement. Samsung claims this doubles the bandwidth of conventional Bluetooth calls, helping voices remain clear even in noisy environments.
The Buds4 Pro further adds Voice Detect and Siren Detect features, automatically raising ambient sound levels during conversations or when critical alerts are detected.
AI and Galaxy Ecosystem Integration
The Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series deepens integration within Samsung’s ecosystem. Users can activate AI agents such as Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity using voice commands.
On the Buds4 Pro, head gesture controls allow users to accept or reject calls and interact with Bixby hands-free. Opening the charging case near a compatible Galaxy device initiates quick pairing without requiring the Galaxy Wearable app.
Both models support Bluetooth 6.1, Samsung Seamless Codec HiFi, SSC UHQ, AAC, SBC, LC3 and Auracast.
Battery Life and Durability

Galaxy Buds4 offers up to 5 hours of playback with ANC on, extending to 24 hours total with the charging case. With ANC off, playback increases to 6 hours per charge and up to 30 hours total.

Galaxy Buds4 Pro delivers up to 6 hours with ANC on and 7 hours with ANC off, with total battery life reaching up to 26 hours and 30 hours, respectively.
In terms of durability, the Buds4 carry an IP54 rating, while the Buds4 Pro steps up to IP57 water resistance.
