vivo Launches vivo V50 Lite 5G, Packs Powerful Features
vivo has officially unveiled its latest device, the vivo V50 Lite 5G, in select global markets, expanding its reach in the competitive smartphone arena. This new model builds upon the previously released 4G variant, bringing 5G connectivity and enhanced features to consumers.
One of the standout features of the vivo V50 Lite 5G is its distinctive camera setup, featuring a pill-shaped camera island complemented by Vivo’s signature Aura Ring light. The device runs on Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15, providing users with the latest software experience.
Key Specifications
The device features a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth visual experience. It also boasts a peak brightness of 1800 nits, ensuring excellent visibility. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which efficiently handles everyday tasks and 5G connectivity. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM for seamless multitasking. Additionally, the device offers 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with the option to expand via a microSD card.
For photography, the rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor for capturing detailed images and an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens for broader perspectives. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 32MP front-facing camera.
The device houses a substantial 6,500mAh battery, supporting 90W wired fast charging for quick power top-ups, and also offers reverse charging functionality. Connectivity options include dual 5G and 4G support, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, OTG, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.
Pricing and Availability
The vivo V50 Lite 5G is priced at EUR399 for the configuration with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is now available for purchase through Vivo’s official online store in Spain. Colour options include Fantasy Purple, Phantom Black, Silk Green, and Titanium Gold. There’s no mention of the V50 Lite 5G coming to Malaysia at the time of writing. Seeing that the main V50 series launched here recently, however, there’s a huge chance that it will too.
